About Me 3D

About Me 3D is a two part experience that pairs a physical coloring book with a AR phone app developed by Jump Simulation. The goal of this application was to provide an engaging activity for children at OSF Children’s Hospital that would have a mix of fun enjoyable things to engage with and learning opportunities.

I worked as a programmer and designer while I was an intern as Jump Simulation - developing ideas, prototypes, and then fully featured experiences for the coloring book.

In this first version of the book aimed at younger children it mostly featured parts of the body to color in then view in 3D, animations of the body, a small game to play, and some small quizzes. All of these pages could be colored without the app and then the app would unlock an additional interaction - showing the organ you colored in on the screen in 3D, giving you the answers to your quiz, giving you a short video going into more detail, or giving you an animation of what the page would look like if it were moving!
